Sixteen people have submitted applications to fill two upcoming vacancies on the Fayetteville Advertising and Promotion Commission. They might, however, have to wait another month before any word on who gets the seats.

Local band Boom Kinetic signed a multi-record deal with Virginia-based indie label Brain Fuse Records at a public signing ceremony held last week at George’s Majestic Lounge.

This week’s list of scheduled public meetings includes the A&P Commission, Planning Commission, a Parking Deck Public Input Session and more.

Three time Grammy-winning artist Delbert McClinton is coming to Fayetteville this spring.
