Expansion timeline for Walton Arts Center’s Fayetteville and Bentonville facilities.

Advertising and Promotion commissioners approved plans yesterday to help fund the Walton Arts Center’s upcoming renovations and a planned regional park in southwest Fayetteville. Included are a proposal to the City Council to extend voter-approved bonds, and spending $600,000 in 2013 commission reserves.

The Arkansas men’s basketball team will face Vanderbilt in the second round of the 2013 Southeastern Conference Tournament at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

Robert Randolph & The Family Band returns to George’s tonight with local band 1 Oz. Jig.
