The annual St. Patrick’s Day parade returns to Dickson Street Saturday at noon.

If you see smoke in north Fayetteville today, it’s because there are two prescribed burns planned near Lake Fayetteville.

St. Patrick’s Day is coming up, and there are two days of celebrations planned in Fayetteville on Saturday and Sunday, March 16-17.

The Four Fingers Fundraiser is underway, benefitting local artist and craftsman Jonathan Perrodin, who recently lost a finger in a miter saw accident.

Fayetteville Advertising and Promotion commissioners tabled their appointment of applicants to replace outgoing commissioners Bob Davis and Maudie Schmitt, whose terms expire at the end of March.

Tuesday’s special meeting of the Fayetteville City Council included the passing of two items – a contract with Million Air Fayetteville and the acceptance of a State Drug Crime Enforcement and Prosecution fund grant.

This year marks the first time since the 2005-06 season that the Arkansas basketball team has placed multiple players on the all-SEC team.
