In case some of you haven’t noticed, Fayetteville is a pretty awesome place to live. It’s the people, really. That’s what makes it so great.
Earlier this week, we told you guys about some locals coming together to help a local artist in the Four Finger Fundraiser. This weekend, the Fayetteville community is coming together once again to help out some local folks in their time of need.
This time, it’s for locals Andi-K Heart and her daughter Itali.
Andi-k and Itali lost their house and everything in it to a fire a few weeks ago, and some awesome Fayetteville folks have planed a benefit called “Rise From the Ashes” on Sunday, March 17 at Greenhouse Grille.
The event will feature “kid-friendly” performances by Shannon Wurst, Still on the Hill, and Candy Lee and The Sweets, as well as a silent auction featuring all kinds of donated art, crafts and other items from the community.
A bit more information is available via the Facebook page for the event.
There’s a $5 suggested donation at the door, and all the proceeds will go to Andi-k and Itali to help them get back on track.
