A new film about a former offensive lineman on the Razorback football team is set to begin shooting in Fayetteville soon, and you could be in the movie.

Producers of Greater, the biopic about the former Razorback great Brandon Burlsworth, are currently seeking hundreds of extras in the Fayetteville area for the film.

“We want Razorback fans and fans of Brandon Burlsworth to be funeral attendees and football fans, people in the stands, people on the sidelines, etc,” said Rashi DeStephano, unit production manager for the film.

The movie, which follows the unlikely career of Burlsworth, including his rise from a walk-on with the football program to an All-American performer before his tragic death just after graduation, will begin shooting in Fayetteville in early May and will continue through June 14.

Extras selected to participate in the film will be given about two weeks notice before they will be required on set, but occasional last-minute shoots will likely be scheduled. It’s not a paying gig, but lunch and snacks will be provided during the 6- to 12-hour sessions.

Producers are also seeking cars from the 1990s to be used in the film.
