The annual Fayetteville High School Parade of Champions and Moving Up Assembly will take place at 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, May 9 at Harmon Field in Fayetteville.
The Parade of Champions honors all students groups in academics, athletics, fine arts, and other areas that have won awards in their particular areas during this school year. Each student group will parade past the home stands to be recognized by the student body.
The Moving Up Assembly is an event intended to honor graduating seniors. FHS faculty will form a gauntlet on the field, and the seniors will walk through the formation to say goodbye and thank you to their teachers. After the seniors have left the field, the juniors move to take their place in the senior section of the bleachers.
