Severe storms including heavy rainfall, strong winds and lightning led to several live music delays and cancellations on opening night, but by Friday morning, things were back in full swing at Wakarusa.

The 10th anniversary edition of the music and camping festival, held on Mulberry Mountain near Ozark, Ark., is alive and well.

Despite ankle-deep mud on much of the festival grounds, the bands are playing and the thousands of fans who showed up seem as happy as always.

Over 100 bands are on the lineup for this year’s event, featuring nearly non-stop music on five stages through late Sunday night.

We stopped by the Revival Tent and grabbed a few photos of Athens, Georgia’s The Whigs and L.A. rock duo Deap Vally before trudging back through the muddy mess this afternoon.

Enjoy.
