2014 Arkansas Razorbacks football schedule set

The 2014 Arkansas Razorbacks football schedule was announced Wednesday, which includes the team’s first opening game away from home since 1999.

The Hogs begin the season Aug. 30 at Auburn, which also marks the first conference opener for Arkansas since joining the Southeastern Conference in 1992.

Missouri replaces South Carolina as the Hogs’ cross-division opponent, and as expected, Arkansas has lost the LSU game on Thanksgiving weekend, a tradition that has for 17 years put the Hogs in front of a prime national TV audience on CBS.

Designations for which games will be played in Little Rock aren’t yet available, but Arkansas is under contract to play two games (one conference and one nonconference) at War Memorial Stadium through 2016.
