Arkansas released the 2013-14 women’s basketball schedule Tuesday, which begins Nov. 3 with an exhibition game against Missouri Southern.
The team hosts eight SEC games this season, including matchups against Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Mississippi State, Missouri, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Vanderbilt. That leaves a difficult road schedule with games at Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Tennessee and Texas A&M.
“We have put together another strong schedule for the 2013-14 women’s basketball season,” said head coach Tom Collen. “We play 11 different teams who advanced to last year’s NCAA Tournament for 13 games this year and face four other teams for six games against programs who went to the WNIT.”
Arkansas went 20-13 during last season, which ended with a loss to Tulane in round two of the WNIT.
