TheatreSquared artistic director Robert Ford has a brand new show, and if the reactions on Facebook to the opening weekend of performances are any indication, they’ve got another hit on their hands with The Spiritualist.

The Spiritualist is written by Ford, directed by T2 veteran Kevin Christopher Fox (Sundown Town), and stars T2’s associate artistic director Amy Herzberg, who previously appeared in My Father’s War and has directed five productions for TheatreSquared.

The new play is a comedic drama based on a strange-but-true story of an English widow who claimed to channel the spirits of dead composers. It opened with a preview performance on Thursday, Aug. 29, and the show will run through Sept. 15 at Nadine Baum Studios.

“Great show” and “Go see this everyone! Especially if you like classical music,” were just a couple of the raves we noticed online after the first weekend of performances.

Of course, if you are one of the lucky winners of our giveaway, you can be your own critic of the new play. We’ve got two pairs of tickets to give away to the closing night performance. Good luck!
