Who’s ready for some mountain music? We ask, because it’s almost time for another installment of the Harvest Music Festival.
The 8th annual event is set for Oct. 17-19, and earlier today, the final stage schedule for the four-day festival was released.
Mainstage headliners this year include JJ Grey and Mofro and Les Claypool’s Duo de Twang on Thursday night. Friday night, festival organizers Yonder Mountain String Band and Tedeschi Trucks Band will perform. Saturday night headliners also include YMSB along with Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds, Beats Antique, and Railroad Earth.
A few bands with Arkansas connections we noticed on the lineup are Fayetteville band SpaceCamp late night Thursday on the Roost Stage, Isayah’s Allstars Friday night on the Roost Stage, Fort Smith’s Tyrannosaurus Chicken Saturday night on the Roost Stage, Fayetteville ex-pat Andy Frasco in the Harvest Tent Saturday night, and Mountain Home band Coyote Union Saturday night on the Roost Stage. Fayetteville bands Groovement and Guta are also on the Roost Stage on Friday, along with Little Rockers, War Chief.
Also of note, Hot Club of Cowtown and Kopecki Family Band play back to back Saturday afternoon on the Backwood’s Stage, American Aquarium is playing two sets this year (Wednesday night on the Roost stage and Friday afternoon in the Harvest Tent), as will Greensky Bluegrass (mainstage Thursday and the Harvest tent late Friday night).
Along with the stage schedule came at least one addition to the lineup, with Everyone Orchestra (conducted by Matt Butler and featuring Al Schnier of moe., Jeff Austin of Yonder Mountain String Band, Tim Carbone and Andy Goessling of Railroad Earth, Dango Rose, Bridget Law and Bonnie Paine of Elephant Revival, Isayah Warford and Mike Dillon and Carly Meyers of Mike Dillon Band) set to perform Saturday night in the Harvest Tent.
