Ad: Btiques Insider offers a peek behind the scenes of local boutiques

Btiques, a new venture from local entrepreneurs Sara Beck and Will Carter, has gained plenty of speed since winning last year’s Ark Challenge start-up competition.

The two siblings won judges over with their idea to help small fashion boutiques ramp up their e-commerce sales using a simple but unique mobile-based app. Now, the company is now winning over shoppers and shop owners.

The recently launched app lets buyers see the hottest new products for sale from a growing list of boutiques in Northwest Arkansas, Fort Smith and the Little Rock area. Besides being able to quickly find and purchase items from their favorite local shops, consumers can also discover new boutiques to further expand their wardrobes, all from a mobile device.

Part of the excitement for shoppers is knowing the items are coming straight from shop owners who take fashion just as seriously as they do. To help highlight this, Btiques has launched the Insider blog to give people a behind-the-scenes look at the boutiques that supply the items for sale through the app.

To date, the blog has featured several local shops including downtown Fayetteville’s Savoir-Faire and The Independent Denim & Essentials.

From profiles of business owners to suggested outfits available from each boutique, the Insider blog offers an interesting look into the world of Btiques and the shops that keep it running.
