Nashville-based indie rockers Kopecky Family Band will play a free show in Fayetteville this weekend.
The band, named one of the 25 best new acts and best live acts of 2011 by Paste Magazine, is set to perform at Lola Boutique, 339 West Ave., on Saturday, Oct. 19.

They’re no strangers to Fayetteville, either. The band has been a regular at George’s, performing most recently in March after getting their start in town at Smoke & Barrel Tavern a few years ago (we interviewed them in 2010.)
They’ve kind of blown up recently, coming off their acclaimed 2013 release, Kids Raising Kids and their first ever national television appearance on Jay Leno this summer.
The band will play an acoustic set beginning at 6 p.m. in the store. Admission is free.
