The final episode of AMC’s Breaking Bad aired nearly two months ago, but local fans of the critically-acclaimed series might have more than just memories to remind them of how great the show was.
An anonymous tip yesterday led us to the Lewis Automotive Group across from Village Inn restaurant on College Avenue where a familiar looking 1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is sitting outside the service department.

The Wagoneer is a perfect match to the one driven throughout the Breaking Bad series by actress Anna Gunn who played Skyler White, the wife of Walter “Heisenberg” White.
As it turns out, the vehicle was recently sold in an online auction through Screenbid, a popular website that sells screen-used Hollywood memorabilia and collectibles.
We checked the vehicle identification number on the auction site against the VIN on the Wagoneer sitting outside Lewis Automotive Group and guess what? They match.
According to Screenbid, the vehicle runs and drives, but leaks oil, which could be why it’s being serviced this week here in town.
We haven’t yet been able to reach the new owner to see whether they plan to keep the Wagoneer or sell it, but we’re crossing our fingers that its new permanent home is indeed in Fayetteville.
How cool would that be?
