Merry Little Christmas set for Dec. 7 at Mount Sequoyah

Update: Merry Little Christmas at Mount Sequoyah’s lighting ceremony and concert with Fayetteville Jazz Collective has been cancelled.

If you missed the Lights of the Ozarks lighting ceremony on the Fayetteville square last week, don’t beat yourself up too much. There’s another holiday display set to be unveiled this weekend.

Mount Sequoyah Retreat and Conference Center will turn on their holiday lights at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 during the annual Merry Little Christmas celebration.

The event will also include a performance by the Fayetteville Jazz Collective at 7 p.m. inside Mount Sequoyah’s Clapp Auditorium. Tickets to the show are $10, and are available online or at the door.

Following Saturday’s event the lighting display will be free and open to the public through Jan. 6.

Mount Sequoyah Retreat and Conference Center is located at 150 N. Skyline Drive in Fayetteville.
