Fayetteville school closings for Monday, Dec. 9

With some roads still covered in snow and ice, several local schools have cancelled classes for Monday, including all Fayetteville Public Schools.

District officials last week released a schedule of make-up days, including a contingency plan for future snow days. According to the schedule, Monday’s closing will result in a make-up day on Saturday, Feb. 8.

Haas Hall Academy, The New School, and all classes at the University of Arkansas are also closed for the day.

Fayetteville Montessori will open at 10 a.m., and Northwest Arkansas Community College will open at noon today except for classes in Farmington.

– Gentry School District
– Gravette School District
– Greenland School District
– Northwest Technical Institute in Springdale
– Pea Ridge School District
– Prairie Grove School District
– Rogers School District
– Springdale School District
– Siloam Springs School District
– St. Joseph Catholic School
– St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School in Rogers.
– Sunshine House Preschool
– West Fork School District
