It’s time for another event to help support Ranger’s Pantry pet food bank.

The city’s Community Services Division and the Fayetteville Public Library are asking for pet food donations for qualified low-income families to help keep local pets at home and out of shelters this holiday season.

Dry or canned dog and cat food may be dropped off at the Christmas tree near the children’s desk in the library at 401 W. Mountain Street near downtown Fayetteville.

Monetary donations are also welcomed, and can be mailed to the Fayetteville Community Services Division, 113 W. Mountain St., Fayetteville, AR 72701. Checks should be made payable to “City of Fayetteville” with “Ranger’s Pantry” written on the memo line. Every dollar donated will be used to purchase pet food for the pantry.

Ranger’s Pantry, which is at All Around Storage, 2650 City Lake Road, has provided over 75,000 pounds of food for over 2,500 animals since 2010.
