Last week’s snow may be melting away, but there’s still enough ice on the roads to close several area schools through the middle of the week.
Fayetteville Public Schools, Haas Hall Academy, Fayetteville Christian Elementary School, and The New School will be closed on Wednesday, Dec. 11.
Fayetteville Montessori will open at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
University of Arkansas officials announced that the campus will open at 10:30 a.m. in time for classes at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday. The university will close at 6 p.m.
Other area schools that will be closed on Wednesday include:
– Bentonville School District
– Elkins School District
– Farmington School District
– Greenland School District
– Lincoln School District
– Prairie Grove School District
– Rogers School District
– Siloam Springs School District
– Springdale School District
– West Fork School District
