Weekend Flyer: Dec. 27-29, 2013

Local legends The Cate Brothers will perform their annual happy hour show in the garden at George’s Majestic Lounge Friday night. The show starts at 6 p.m., and it’s probably a good idea to get there early. It’ll likely be a packed house.

It’s the last weekend to see TheatreSquared’s A Christmas Carol at Nadine Baum Studios. Here’s a schedule of performances.

The Early Morning Bourbon Girls, a band made up of mostly ladies that played around Fayetteville in the early 2000s, will reunite for a one-night only show at Maxine’s Tap Room Saturday night. It’s a free show, and it’ll have an early start at around 8 p.m.

Later on, locals High Magic are at The Lightbulb Club with Healer (featuring members of excellent Hot Springs Band, the Holy Shakes). Admission is $5.
