Isayah Warford Trio will kick off the evening at George’s Majestic Lounge with an 8 p.m. show Friday night, followed by the first of two performances by Lawrence, KS-electronic duo, The Floozies. The band will also perform Saturday night at the venue. It appears as though both shows are close to selling out.

Remember The Beard Calendar we wrote about not long ago? Well it’s out, and there’s a party to celebrate it’s release Friday night at The Lightbulb Club with locals I Do Declare and Surf De Soleil.

Local video game music band, The One Ups are back at Smoke & Barrel Friday night with fellow nerd core bands Doug Funnie and Crunk Witch.

War Chief

There’s a kind of variety show at Fayetteville Underground Saturday night. Last Saturday Fayetteville, a new(ish) monthly event at the venue, this month will feature music by Joel Ludford (Don’t Stop Please) and acoustic duo Woody and Sunshine, comedian Kevin Byram, and juggling by the Institute of Jugglology. The event will also include a segment of Fayetteville Word Wars, an audience-judged entertainment competition with a $50 cash prize. Here’s more info.

Don’t Stop Please will perform at Smoke & Barrel Saturday night, with St. Louis band, Kentucky Knife Fight. Admission is $5 at the door.

Little Rock bands War Chief and Stephen Neeper and the Wild Hearts are also in town Saturday night for a show at The Stolen Glass. Admission is $5.
