Area Agency on Aging of Northwest Arkansas – An ordinance waiving the requirements of formal competitive bidding and accepting a $55,000 contract with the Area Agency on Aging of Northwest Arkansas for public recreation services for seniors at the Fayetteville Senior Center and Hillcrest Towers (previous contractor defaulted).

Interstate 540 interchange improvements – A resolution to express the council’s support for city staff’s recommendations to the Arkansas Highway and Transit Department regarding the upcoming improvements to the I-540 interchanges at Wedington Drive and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. Suggestions include: bicycle and pedestrian access; additional median breaks/signals; changes in some one-way/two-way plans; consideration of public transit routing; and preference of a loop ramp over a flyover ramp at MLK.

Unfinished Business
1. ADM 13-4602 (UDC Amendment Chapter 161.32 and Chapter 166.06) (PDF): An ordinance to Amend §161.32 Planned Zoning District and §166.06 Planned Zoning District of the Unified Development Code to clearly separate the zoning and development approvals for Planned Zoning Districts and to simplify and reduce current regulations. This ordinance was left on the First Reading at the March 18, 2014 City Council meeting.
