It’s a big weekend for the blues in Fayetteville. Blues in the Natural State is happening all over town, starting at 6 p.m. Friday night at George’s with Earl and Them and Isayah’s All Stars for happy hour.Later on, Samantha Fish and Royal Southern Brotherhood will perform.

The Wizard of Oz continues at Walton Arts Center through the weekend. Our reviewer Michelle Parks called the show “fresh, thrilling and still heartwarming.”

Outdoor music at Kingfish returns tonight as well, with locals Surf de Soleil and Man’s Red Fire at 8:30 p.m.

There’s a huge indie show at The Lightbulb Club, with a great showcase of local talent in SW/MM/NG and Teenagers, along with California band, Couches.

Feel like dancing? Your best bet is either checking out local funk band 1 Oz. Jig’s tour sendoff party at Smoke & Barrel, or some DJ’s at the Cool Shoes event at Fix Ultralounge with Party Trap, Baby Armie, and M. Bolez (just depends on what kind of dancing you like).
