The Fayetteville Farmers’ Market returned for a new season Saturday morning on the downtown square.

The streets, sidewalks and business storefronts were filled with shoppers, vendors, musicians, and plenty of folks who were just happy to be out and about Saturday morning for opening day.

The downtown market, which includes nearly 70 vendors selling locally-grown produce, flowers, meats, jams and crafts, is open Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Nov. 22. The market is also open from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday through October.

Beginning May 4, a new Sunday market will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the playground at the Jefferson Center at 612 S. College Ave. in south Fayetteville.

See you there!
