Plans have emerged for what looks to be a Whole Foods Market on College Avenue near the new flyover in north Fayetteville. If built, it would be only the second Whole Foods in the state.

Areas of Sang Avenue and Halsell Road will be closed to traffic through the summer while city crews work to build new sidewalks. Work began this week.

The Fayetteville Farmers’ Market returned for a new season last Saturday on the downtown square. Here are a few photos from opening day.

Today’s Active Transportation Advisory Committee meeting has been rescheduled for Monday, April 14 at 5:30 p.m. in room 111. Here’s this week’s list of public meetings.
