Springfest adds Easter egg hunt to event lineup

The Easter bunny will make an appearance at Springfest this year.

The festival, set for the day before Easter on Saturday, April 19, has added an egg hunt to the event lineup.

The egg hunt will take place at 11 a.m. in the Rosen Memorial Rose Garden at the Walton Arts Center.

Organizers say the Easter bunny will hide about 150 eggs in the garden, and he’ll also be around for photo opportunities after the egg hunt. Children are encouraged to bring their own Easter baskets.

The egg hunt is free, and intended for children 12 or younger.
