It’s official. Whole Foods Market is coming to College Avenue near the new flyover bridge in Fayetteville.

City Council members agreed to pay $150,000 for a traffic signal at College Avenue and Masonic Drive in an effort to help lure Whole Foods to town.

Despite another round of complaints, the 28 back-in parking spaces at the north end of Block Avenue will stay, it was decided this week.

Organizers of the 2014 Block Street Block Party are looking for volunteers to make this year’s event a success.
