Long lines formed at the Washington County Courthouse Monday after a circuit judge ruled the state’s ban on same-sex marriage unconstitutional late Friday.

More than 80 same-sex couples were married Monday in Fayetteville after a circuit judge overturned the state’s ban on gay marriages Friday.

The old Mountain Inn property, located at the gateway to the Fayetteville square on College Avenue between Mountain and Center streets, is under contract with a buyer.
