Artist’s Laboratory Theatre to debut “The New Now” May 31

Experimental theater company Artist’s Laboratory Theatre will debut a new show this weekend.

The New Now, an original performance series that investigates the impact of social media and technology on personal presence and interpersonal relationships, is set to open on at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, May 31 at Tri Cycle Farms, located at 1691 N. Garland Ave. in Fayetteville.

Here’s a description from the company.

During the performance the audience will be led through theatrical adventure throughout the farm in “Connections”—an introduction to characters, ideas, and stories in development for “The New Now,” a performance series that explores how technology, social media, and the internet has impacted our lives. Each performance is an experiment in theatre and group experience.

Performances are also scheduled for June 1, June 3, and June 4.

Tickets can be purchased at the door, but seating is limited. Tickets may also be reserved in advance.
