After two years in business, local venue and watering hole The Stolen Glass has closed its doors.

The bar, owned by locals Thea Morrill and Paul Baldwin, opened in July 2012 at 40 E. Center Street. The place was home to occational live music, karaoke, and open mic nights.

The Stolen Glass wasn’t the first place to give it a go at the location. The building was previously home to other bars and music venues, including Whole Earth Organic Lounge, Opal Fly’s Feel Good Lounge, and Tones, among others.

The owners announced the closure on the bar’s Facebook page on June 30.

“We are so fortunate to have such great times over the last two years and the staff at The Stolen Glass will miss you all,” they stated.
