Firefly Fling

Staff photo

The Beaver Watershed Alliance is looking for volunteers to help clean areas along the Town Branch from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Walker Park.

The kid party of the year is tomorrow. It’s the annual Firefly Fling at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks.

The Illinois River Watershed Partnership will host two bicycle rides along the scenic back roads of Cave Springs on Saturday.

Also on Saturday, the city’s “Meet Your Trails” series continues with a bicycle tour of the recently completed Clear Creek Trail in north Fayetteville.

Actor, comedian, and banjo shredder Steve Martin is coming to town next month, and we’ve got tickets to give away for the show.
