It’s been too long since Georgia-based Americana outfit Drive-By Truckers was in Fayetteville, don’t you think?
The good news for fans is, that problem will be rectified this fall.
The band, who have been touring in support of their March release, English Oceans, is set to return to Fayetteville for the first time since 2009 for an Oct. 28 date at George’s Majestic Lounge.
The album is the 12th by the road warriors, and one that both principal songwriters Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley agree may be the best the band has ever released.
Tickets are $25, and are already on sale at George’s ticketing site.
