Bill Clinton to make campaign stop in Fayetteville Oct. 7

Former President Bill Clinton is scheduled to be in Fayetteville for an appearance next week.

Clinton will be in town for a rally in support of the Democratic ticket in Arkansas, set for 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7 at the Union Mall outside the student union on the University of Arkansas campus.

The rally is one of a handful scheduled around the state over two days on Oct. 6-7. In addition to his appearance at the UA, Clinton will also appear at the University of Central Arkansas and Arkansas State University on Oct. 6, and at the John Q. Hammons Center in Rogers on Oct. 7.

Tickets to the Fayetteville rally will be free, and available for pickup in advance of the appearance from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. daily at Arkansas Victory 2014, located at 2025 North Green Acres Rd., and on campus from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. outside the Arkansas Union at 435 N. Garland Ave.

Satellite parking for the event will be available at Baum Stadium, with shuttles running beginning at 10 a.m.
