Local photographer John Moore of noir33 will celebrate the release his new photography book Lightbulb Club: A Year in the Life Friday night at, fittingly, The Lightbulb Club. There will be music by Grim Creeper, Thunderlizards, Mud Lung, and Auric, and only 25 copies of the book will be available for sale. Here’s more info.

There’s also a big country show at George’s Friday night with Texas troubadour Pat Green.

Since Bradley Nowell has been dead for nearly a decade, no one is gonna see Sublime perform any time soon. A bunch of locals have put together a tribute to the band, though, and they’re playing George’s on Saturday night. Admission is $10 at the door.

There are also a few more chances to see Slava’s Snowshow at Walton Arts Center this weekend. We’ve heard lots of good things about it.
