AD: Artist’s Laboratory Theatre to host Hootenanny and Pie Auction May 23

Y’all, come on out for a Hootenanny and Pie auction to benefit The Artist’s Laboratory Theatre!

We are throwing another fundraising party, and this time we are throwing back to old school Ozarks and raising some money the good old fashioned way! A $20 ticket gets you the tastiest BBQ in Northwest Arkansas, dessert, and Sangria by Maxine’s Tap Room.

You can expect to have some fun playing old-timey games, swing your partner do-si-do at the Square Dance, AND you get the chance to take home a PIE made by your favorite local chefs and foodies. Mark Landon Smith will auction off “celebrity pies” during the party, so bring an appetite and an eye for PIE!

In addition to food and drinks and a PIE, you can kick up your heels at a traditional southern square dance taught & called by Willi Goehring from Fayetteville Square Dance to the old-time string band music of Ozark Highballers. All proceeds of the evening go to support our productions and outreach projects. Some come on out and show your support! Let’s hoot and holler! Because PIE.

The event is scheduled from 7-9 on May 23 at Bottle Rocket Gallery, located at 1495 S. Finger Road. Additional parking is available at the west side of the Walmart Supercenter parking lot Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and Finger Road.
