Locals create time-lapse video of Block Street Block Party

Block Street Block Party won’t happen again for another 360-something days, but you can relive the magic of the 2015 event in a concise two minutes and forty-three seconds, thanks to a new time-lapse video released today (see above).

The video, created by locals Anthony Roman and Martel Jackson using equipment from Fayetteville’s Public Access TV station, captures the fun-filled day from a birds-eye vantage point from Hugo’s rooftop.

It’s pretty cool to see the early morning setup, then follow along as the street turns from quiet to absolutely packed with people for the event.

Local band The Silvershakers provide the soundtrack for the video, with a cover of Queen’s Crazy Little Thing Called Love recorded live at Block Street Block Party.

Enjoy.
