It’s a three day weekend, y’all. Cheers to that.
Local favorites Big Uns are playing happy hour at George’s Friday night, along with Josh Hoyer. Later on, indie rockers The Whigs will perform at the venue for the first time in a few years. Should be a good show. Tickets are $10.
Also Friday night, Benjamin Del Shreve is playing at the new Cannibal & Craft. We’re not sure if it’s a solo show or a full band appearance, but we’re looking into it.

Saturday events, May 23
Ales & Tails kicks off at 4 p.m. at the Fayetteville Town Center
There’s a big old crawfish boil and celebration at the Fayetteville Town Center on Saturday. Ales & Tales will feature over 100 craft beers to sample, a crawfish boil, and prepared foods by several area restaurants. Tickets are $55 for an individual, and $100 for a couple.
Music wise, there’s a rock show at the Lightbulb Club with Brian Abel’s new project, Biq Fliqqr and Norman, OK band Helen Kelter Skelter.
Also, former Fayetteville comedian Roger Haak has been on a mini comedy tour, and he’ll be back home on Saturday for a show at Ryleigh’s.
