Wakarusa officially kicked off Wednesday night, but Thursday is the day that things really get going at the festival.
More than 40 bands are scheduled to play on five stages today, including main stage headliners Umphrey’s McGee, Slightly Stoopid, The Devil Makes Three, The Floozies, and others.

Local bands Shawn James & The Shapeshifters, Mountain Sprout, and Waka Winter Classic winners Vintage Pistol will perform on the Backwoods Stage Thursday as well. Semi-local bands Andy Frasco and Ben Miller Band are also on the schedule for today.
