Fayetteville legends The Cate Brothers will perform a happy hour set at George’s Friday night beginning at 6 p.m.

Also Friday night, Artist’s Laboratory Theatre has a new show that debuted Thursday night and runs through the weekend called Ctrl+Alt+Del.

Down on the Mulberry Mountain, Wakarusa is in full effect with headliners Galactic featuring Macy Gray, Chance the Rapper, STS9, and Big Gigantic scheduled Friday night.

Speaking of Wakarusa, Nashville band KOA is coming off a couple sets at the festival, and will stop in to Fayetteville for a show at Matt Miller Studio tonight. Tickets are $15. Here’s more info.

How about some sports? The Razorback Baseball team is two wins away from a trip to the College World Series, and they’ll battle it out with Missouri State this weekend at Baum Stadium for their chance to head to the big baseball dance. Tickets were $15 for about 10 minutes earlier this week (they’re very, very sold out now, though).

Sloppy Seconds

The Lightbulb Club has a huge punk rock show Saturday night with the 80s cult legends, Sloppy Seconds. Locals Rival Monsters, Not on your Life, and Izzy Savage will open the show.

There’s a kid friendly show at Walton Arts Center, with two performances Saturday in Chuggington Live. Here’s more info.

There’s a benefit for Apple Seeds Inc. at their College Avenue Teaching Farm on Saturday as well called Picnic on the Farm. Ozark Natural Foods Owners and kids get in free.

Headliners at Wakarusa on Saturday include The Roots, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, and Major Lazer.

Fayetteville Public Library’s summer concert series called Mountain Street Stage kicks off Sunday with locals Earl & Them, featuring local legend Earl Cate.

Sunday night, blues guitar slinger Tab Benoit will play at George’s, and local songwriter Ryan Pickop and Oklahoma folk artist Zach Winters will perform at Nightbird Books.
