Road milling to close lanes on 15th Street this week

Portions of West 15th Street will close on Wednesday, June 10 and Thursday, June 11 for road milling and asphalt work, according to a news release from the city’s Transportation Division.

Construction will require some lane closures between South School and South College avenues. The project should be completed in two days, but officials said rain could delay work and extend overall construction time.

Traffic will be allowed during construction, but drivers should expect some delays. Once milling work is complete, the lanes will then be overlaid with asphalt.

Drivers are urged to use caution when traveling through the work area, and to watch for personnel and equipment.
