Happy Friday, folks. We did it.

There’s plenty of music to check out around today tonight. Fayetteville Underground is hosting three acclaimed songwriters for a performance Friday night. Steve Davison, Micky Rigby and Danny Dozier will perform “in the round,” with songs and stories about their compositions and their approach to the guitar. Here’s more info about the show.

There’s an indie rock karaoke/comedy show at the Lightbulb Club Friday night with Austin-based Karaoke Underground and comedy sets from Laura Weiderhaft, Whitney Wasson, Kaia Hodo, and Camille M Richoux.

There’s a big show at the AMP with pop group, Fifth Harmony.

Also, Backspace has an eclectic show with Rad Rad Riot, Peace of the Sea, Chicken Nugget and Stereo Tech Fighters.

Sunday events, July 26

Sharknado. Shark week. Lots of shark attacks. Sharks have been in the news lately, and they’ll also be on display at Maxine’s Tap Room this weekend. The venue’s popular “All You Need to Know Show” returns this this week, with a variety show about those lovable man-eating ocean kings. There’s no cover, either.

Another fun free activity set for Sunday is the Fayetteville Public Library’s weekly Mountain Street Stage series. This week, check out Smokey & The Mirror for a grand total of zero dollars.
