Get pumped, Whitesnake fans. The band is back on tour, and they’re coming to the AMP on Aug. 15.

For those who aren’t familiar, Whitesnake was founded in 1978 by Deep Purple singer David Coverdale. Since then, the band has released 11 albums, including their 1987 self-titled record which included probably their most recognizable songs, “Here I Go Again” (No. 1) and “Is This Love” (No. 2).

The group last spring released their first new studio album in four years, The Purple Album, a re-imagination of classic songs from Coverdale’s time with Deep Purple. The Purple Tour will feature Whitesnake’s biggest hits and songs from the new album.

Tickets, which start at $31, are currently on sale at amptickets.com.

We’ve also got a pair, and we’re giving them away below. Good luck.

Tell us the name of your favorite hair metal song from the 80s, and you’re entered.

To get you started, mine really is Here I Go Again, and I’m not just saying that. That beat in the chorus is awesome.
