The third annual Midtown Music Showcase will return to Evelyn Hills Shopping Center this fall.

The one-day event, which began in 2013 as a way to help revitalize Fayetteville’s midtown area, is set for 2-5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13 in the parking lot outside Ozark Natural Foods.

There will be local beer, a dunking booth, and vendor booths. Fayetteville bands Cutty Rye (2 p.m.) and Rochelle Bradshaw & Hypnotion (3:45 p.m.) will provide the soundtrack for this year’s showcase.

Organizers are currently seeking local businesses to help sponsor the event or set up a vendor booth that day. “Local celebrity” volunteers are also needed to sit in the dunking booth.

Proceeds from this year’s festival will benefit Northwest Arkansas Land Trust, a non-profit organization that conserves land for ecological, scenic, historical, agricultural, and recreational purposes.
