Carnival season is here, and there’s a big one in Tontitown this weekend. The 117th annual Tontitown Grape Festival continues through Saturday. Here the music schedule, and here’s a set of photos to give you an idea of what the rides are looking like this year.

Local band Benjamin Del Shreve is back in town for their first Fayetteville show in a while at George’s Friday night. Bring a few bucks in cash to the show if you can. During one of the songs, the band is asking folks to throw money on the stage, and the proceeds will benefit an organization called Musicians Inspiring Children. Green River Kings and Molten Momma will open the show.

Also in local music, Cutty Rye will play at Kingfish and local rockers Dead Indian will play Smoke & Barrel.

Vintage Pistol

Everyone’s gonna be at the Fayetteville Farmers’ Market on the square this weekend. In addition to being one of the peak times for delicious produce, they’re also celebrating National Farmers’ Market Week.

If you feel like old school metal, the place to be is George’s on Saturday night, where tributes to Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath are going down.

There’s a rock show at Ryleigh’s as well, with locals Vintage Pistol and Tempe, Arizona band The Black Moods.

As we mentioned above, the Tontitown Grape Festival concludes Saturday night as well.
