Who’s ready to kick some kickballs?
Registration for the city’s fall adult co-ed kickball league is now open.
The season begins Aug. 24 and runs through Oct. 1 (including the post-season tournament).
Teams consist of 10 to 20 players and must include an equal number of male and female players on the field. Each team plays 10 regular season games and is guaranteed entry into the single elimination post-season tournament held at the end of regular season play.
Balls and umpires will be provided for each game.
Each team will play a doubleheader on either Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday evenings at Walker Park. Competitive and recreational leagues are available. Tournament champions receive awards, which are typically t-shirts or trophies.
Registration closes Friday, Aug. 14, and those interested should sign at https://fayetteville.onlinesignup.org/.
The cost to register is $250 per team. Individuals interested in participating can sign up as free agents by emailing the league manager.
