Giveaway: Win tickets to ‘Pippin,’ coming to Walton Arts Center Nov. 10

It has been an eventful summer at the Walton Arts Center.

The facility has been closed since June while in the midst of a $23 million renovation project that will ultimately result in a new lobby and entryway, an expanded Starr Theater, and other amenities.

But despite the construction, “the show must go on,” and that’s exactly what will happen again this fall.

The WAC will reopen in early November after their summer hiatus, and they’ll kick off their Broadway season on Nov. 10 with a new production of the hit show Pippin.

The show, directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus (HairPorgy & Bess), debuted on Broadway in 1972, and is touring again this fall.

The revived show features the same sizzling choreography and breathtaking acrobatics the original is known for, as well as the Broadway standard songs “Corner of the Sky,” “Magic To Do,” “Glory,” “No Time at All,” “Morning Glow” and “Love Song.”

We happen to have a pair of tickets to give away to the opening night performance, scheduled for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10. Try to win ’em.
