Polish up your putting skills, Fayetteville. It’s time for a mini-golf tourney.

Golftoberfest, the annual fundraising event benefitting Single Parent Scholarship Fund, is set for Saturday, Oct. 24 at Gator Golf in Fayetteville.

The event, like a traditional golf tournament, features four-person teams playing in an 18 hole competition. Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place winners, and all participants will also receive a goodie bag, lunch, and a t-shirt.

The event is one of the largest fundraisers of the year for Single Parent Scholarship Fund, an organization that offers encouragement and access to higher education for single parents in Washington, Carroll, and Madison Counties.

Flights begin at 10 a.m., and lunch is served from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

The cost to participate is $60 for a team of four, and online registration is now open.
