It’s Friday, mammer jammers.

There’s a benefit for the Buffalo River Foundation tonight at the Fayetteville Town Center, featuring music, food, and more. Here’s more information about the Celebrate the Buffalo Gala.

Also Friday night, the Justin Moore College Town Throwdown concert originally scheduled for Baum Stadium Parking Lot has been moved to The AMP, FYI due to concerns over the weather tonight.

Fayetteville Roots Festival will present alum David Ramirez for a show at The Lightbulb Club Friday night. Advance tickets are recommended, and they’re on sale here.

Also, local supergroup Flipoff Pirates are back in action for a show at Smoke & Barrel Tavern.

There’s a mini-golf tournament on Saturday morning. Single Parent Scholarship Fund of NWA will host their annual Golftoberfest event at Gator Golf. It’s a fundraiser for the organization. Here’s more info.

The Razorback Football team is back in action as well after a week off. The Hogs will take on Auburn beginning at 11 a.m. at Razorback Stadium.

Smoke & Barrel Tavern has also managed to reunited local band Don’t Stop Please for a show this weekend as well. The band is back together for a Saturday night performance at the bar.

Austin “one man funk band” Henry + The Invisibles are in town for a show at George’s Saturday night. Locals Fractal Sky will open the show.

Sunday Oct. 25

The new film by local documentarian Larry Foley we mentioned this week will premier at the Fayetteville Public Library on Sunday. Foley’s The First Boys of Spring, documenting the years that Major League Baseball held spring training in Hot Springs, AR, will be screened at 3 p.m., with a lecture at 2 p.m. by Foley preceding the film.

Sunday night, the All You Need to Know Show returns to Maxine’s Tap Room, with a variety show all about secrets! It starts at 7 p.m., and there’s no cover.
