Vampire film shot in Fayetteville to premiere Nov. 16

A new film shot almost entirely in Fayetteville will soon make its debut.

Proctor Girls: The Bleeding Game is a vampire movie directed by Arkansas native Ian Argo, and filmed in downtown Fayetteville in late 2013.

In the trailer released this week (NSFW – language), we picked out Dickson Street Bookshop, Little Bread Co., the Legacy Building, and the now-closed Dickson Theater as a few of the locations used in the film.

In addition to the familiar setting, the film also stars several local folks, including Alison Tussey, Shey Bland, Jason Bolton, Imro Burnet-Sedney, Adam Jones, Matt Yeager, and Caleb Shaner, as well as reality star Whitney Mixter (The Real L Word).

The movie will premiere on Monday, Nov. 16 at Dickson Street Social Club. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the movie will start at around 8 p.m.

A Q&A with the filmmakers and some of the actors will follow the first screening. A second showing is also scheduled later that night.
