Residents whose property was damaged by recent flooding are encouraged to contact the Washington County Department of Emergency Management.

County officials are collecting data and working with the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management (ADEM) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to determine if damage assessments meet disaster assistance thresholds.

Reports can be made by calling 479-444-1722 or through email at [email protected]. The deadline for reporting is Monday, Jan. 18. Reporting damage does not ensure that assistance will be available.
