Giveaway: Béla Fleck & Abigail Washburn, Feb. 19 at Walton Arts Center

Bela Fleck and Abigail Washburn

Banjo playing maniac Béla Fleck is coming back to town, and he’s bringing his talented spouse Abigail Washburn with him this time for a night of magical music next month.

The husband and wife duo have been touring together recently, and they’re bringing their act to the Walton Arts Center for a show on Friday, Feb. 19.

According to their website, the two musicians began playing together more often as a way to tour and spend more time together after the birth of their son, Juno.

The result is an incredible combination of three-finger and clawhammer banjo duet, resulting in virtuosic jazz-to-classical banjo playing with a unique, sophisticated old-time singer songwriting sensibility.

Tickets range from $25-45 at waltonartscenter.org. They could also be free, if you’re the lucky winner of the following giveaway.

How to enter

Béla Fleck is considered to be one of, if not the best, banjo players in the world. If you could be the best at anything in the world (playing an instrument, making waffles, dancing the Macarena), what would you choose? Leave a comment and let us know, and you’re entered.
